Ark Park

THE BEST HOUR IN A KID’S WEEK

We tap into the way kids are naturally wired to discover to experience for themselves who God is, how He sees them and how much He loves them.  We explore how we are an active part of a life long adventure to be more like Jesus, empowering kids to trust God no matter what, make wise choices, and treat others the way they want to be treated! Creating an environment with awesome music, fantastic fun, engaging age-graded activities and creative Bible teaching to capture kid’s hearts and minds, leaving them wanting to come back week after week for the best hour of their week!

WHAT DO WE TEACH?

This month, we want to cook up a big Recipe For Thanks with our Ark Park little ones! Thinking about the things we’re thankful for is the key to any recipe of thanks—and a thankful heart.

We’ll get to hear all about the time God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. and we will shout out loud and clear God’s number one commandment: we should love God more than anything! We will discover how Jesus taught them how to pray and practice praying the way He modeled in the Lord’s Prayer, learning that we can pray anytime, anywhere, and about anything. That’s something to be thankful about!

We all need people to help us. We can be thankful for our family and friends and all the people in our community. Think about how many people help you each and every day. We will hear the story of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz, and that story is full of people who help! Our little friends will also identify who the people are that help them each and every day.

Our final ingredient for thankfulness is not just one thing but THINGS! It’s all the things we need, like water, food, clothes, and a place to live. We will talk about being thankful for God giving us what we need with Psalm 23.

Join us this November as we cook up some fun!

FAMILY PARTNERSHIP & RESOURCES

There are two individual influences in a child’s life: home and church.  Alone, these two work hard to ensure that every child has a better future.  But when they are combined, the home and church have a GREATER IMPACT.
