TODAY • 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Come back this afternoon for Ezra 8 where we’ll spend about 90 minutes worshiping and lifting our church up in prayer. The whole family is welcome to attend – we’ll have separate programming for children ages birth through 5th grade where they’ll learn about prayer and practice it too. Afterwards, plan to stay and enjoy a meal together as we break our fast. We’re still looking for a few people to bring a salad or dessert to share if it would bless you to do so.
We want to re-engage the opportunity for you to join a prayer shield for our shepherding staff here at Oak Pointe Milford! When you join a prayer shield, you will receive updates and prayer requests for that person and their family to your email inbox once a month. This team (Paul Jenkinson, Perry Dunlap, and Kelly Astwood) is dedicated to full time ministry so we’d love to have a group of people committed to praying for them as they shepherd our church. If you’re interested in supporting them in this way, you can sign up for their prayer shield by emailing email@example.com or filling out the card at the connect wall.
Cozy Sock Sunday
Through Sunday, February 12
Cozy Sock Sunday is officially underway! This is an opportunity we have to partner with Oak Pointe Kids – Help them show a little love this Valentine’s Day by blessing residents in a local nursing home with new warm, and cozy socks. It always brings so much joy to the residents who receive them and next Sunday is our last opportunity to drop off cozy socks in the Lobby if you’d like to participate!
Jelinek Prayer Send Off
Sunday, February 12 • 9:00 & 11:00 Services
Next Sunday, we’ll send off the Jelinek family in prayer as they transition from ministry at Oak Point Milford to join the Detroit Project and plant a church. There will be an informal reception downstairs in the Student Center following each service for you to meet with the Jelinek’s, and express your gratitude and thanks for what their ministry has meant to you. We’re looking forward to supporting them in what God has called them to, so plan to join us next Sunday!
