Have you ever been asked the question, “What would you do with a million dollars?” I’ll bet you have. While a million dollars may not be what it once was, it is still worth a lot; and the thought of having it at your disposal brings a good deal of excitement!

The apostle Paul poses a similar question to us, and then proceeds to tell us that we actually do have a treasure in our hands. No, not a million dollars; but a treasure none the less. He says, “For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us (2 Corinthians 4:6-7).” This week our guest speaker, Gordon Ainsworth, will help us to see this treasure – and to understand that as we give it a way it only grows in value to us.
