Where you end up depends upon the path you take. We all know this to be true when it comes to our physical journeys, and it’s equally true with regard to our spiritual journey. At Oak Pointe Milford we want everyone to enjoy a spiritual life filled with purpose and fruitfulness – that each of us would be Knowing Jesus and Making Him Known in personal and powerful ways. That’s why we have intentionally created our “Mission Path.” The OPCM Mission Path provides a series of steps that help you develop a thorough understanding of who we are as a church, how God has equipped you for his mission, and what being formed by him practically looks like as a disciple of Jesus. “Discover” is the starting point and after that, your next step is up to you!
Discover
Discover is the starting point on our Mission Path. This first step is geared toward those who are new to Oak Pointe Milford, but anyone is welcome to attend. Get to know Pastor Paul, a few of our staff, and other newcomers while learning about the identity and mission of our church. Plus, see what your next steps could be! Discover is one session on a Sunday after the 11:00 am service.
Connect
Insightful and interactive, Connect is hosted by Pastor Paul and his wife Sheila, who will help you better understand the shape of Oak Pointe Milford. Plus, you will get to find your fit through learning about your spiritual gifts and how God has equipped you to join him on his mission. Connect is two sessions on a Friday night and the following Saturday morning and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.
Believe
Doctrine, or what you believe, directly influences how you live. At Believe, we will go through our doctrinal statement to clarify and celebrate the core Christian beliefs we hold as a church. As Pastor Perry helps us deepen our understanding of these biblical truths, we think you’ll be greatly encouraged by how they will engage and transform your heart and mind to love God more. Believe is six sessions on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.
Grow
Grow identifies the purpose behind community life at Oak Pointe Milford. We will explore eight fundamental traits of growth as a disciple of Christ with Pastor Adam and connect the dots on how they help us engage more fully with God and others in Christian community. Grow is four sessions on Sundays during the 9:00 am service and is open to anyone who has been to Discover. x

Multiply
As followers of Jesus we are called to go and make disciples, but often times we can feel overwhelmed and unequipped for this mission. At Multiply, you will develop the vision and skills to become a disciple who makes disciples. Elder Ernie Minissale will help you learn the fundamentals to feel great about articulating God’s story, sharing your own story, and how to follow God’s leading in your life. Multiply is three sessions and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.
