Take A Step
Where you end up depends upon the path you take. We all know this to be true when it comes to our physical journeys, and it’s equally true with regard to our spiritual journey. At Oak Pointe Milford we want everyone to enjoy a spiritual life filled with purpose and fruitfulness – that each of us would be Knowing Jesus and Making Him Known in personal and powerful ways. That’s why we have intentionally created our “Mission Path.” The OPCM Mission Path provides a series of steps that help you develop a thorough understanding of who we are as a church, how God has equipped you for his mission, and what being formed by him practically looks like as a disciple of Jesus. “Discover” is the starting point and after that, your next step is up to you!
Discover
Discover is the first step on the Mission Path and is geared toward those who are new to Oak Pointe Milford, but anyone is welcome to attend. Get to know Pastor Paul, a few of our staff, and other newcomers over lunch to learn about the identity and mission of our church. Plus, see what your next steps could be! Discover is one session on a Sunday after the 11:00 am service.
Connect
Insightful and interactive, Connect is hosted by Pastor Paul and his wife Sheila who will help you better understand the shape of Oak Pointe Milford. You will also get to “Find Your Fit” through learning about your spiritual gifts and how God has equipped you for his mission. Connect is two sessions on a Friday night and the following Saturday morning and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.
Grow
Grow gets into the ‘why’ behind community life at Oak Pointe Milford. We will explore the eight fundamental traits of growth as a disciple of Christ and connect the dots together on how these traits help us engage more fully with God, and in Christian community. Grow is two sessions on Sundays after the 11:00 am service and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.

Believe
At Believe, we will clarify and celebrate our core Christian beliefs about God the Father, and Jesus Christ; the Holy Spirit; the Bible; human beings, and salvation; eternal security, and eternity; and the local church. Believe is six sessions on Sundays during the 9:00 am service and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.

Multiply
The Bible tells us that those who are saved by Jesus are called to go and make disciples of Jesus. Often times we can feel unequipped for this mission. The purpose of Multiply is to help you develop the vision and skills to become a disciple who makes disciples. Multiply is three sessions on Sundays after the 11:00 am service and is open to anyone who has been to Discover.
