The Access icon: a circle with a large hand and the outline of a smaller hand overlaying it.

WE WANT TO MAKE EVERYONE WHO COMES THROUGH OUR DOORS FEEL WELCOME, THIS INCLUDES CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DIFFERING NEEDS, AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.

Because we follow Jesus, we want to be the kind of community where everyone, regardless of special needs, cognitive processing, verbal communication, behavioral struggles, or physical ability, is embraced as a fully functioning member of Christ’s body.

This means that each person at Oak Pointe Milford is received with joy as a co-laborer in the gospel. Someone who uses their God-given gifts for the good of the church and the world around us. After all, this is part of what makes the gospel so irresistible: God bringing together people with differing backgrounds, abilities, and cultures, like pieces in a puzzle, until suddenly, you see a beautiful picture of what God is doing in Christ to redeem a people for himself.

WHAT IS IT?

Access is the way we at Oak Pointe Milford talk about providing accessibility support and services to individuals with disabilities, special needs, conditions, and those needing various accommodations in our church community.

We offer Access support in our Kids Ministry areas (K-5th grade) in both our 9:00 and 11:00a services, however our 9:00a is specially geared towards being sensory-friendly.
