Women’s Groups

STUDY GROUPS

Study groups provide an opportunity to be in God’s Word every day in community. They consist of personal study with the goal of training you to comprehend, interpret, and apply scripture, followed by discussion that’s intended to build authentic community within the group.

Join us this fall as we study God’s Word together! If you have never studied the Bible before, check out our beginner’s bible study on the book of Genesis!

Joshua: Every Promise Fulfilled
Begins week of Sept 15  | Cost: $15

At God’s command and under Joshua’s leadership, the nation of Israel invaded the land of Canaan – the land God had promised his people. The book of Joshua records a key period in God’s plan to redeem his people from slavery in Egypt. In this 12-week study, the story of Joshua is connected to God’s larger promises, offering readers rich insights into the book’s overarching story of salvation and the ultimate rest offered to all who trust in Christ for salvation, helping them apply its message to their lives today.

Beginner’s Bible Study: Genesis
Wednesday AM: Beginning September 18th| Cost: $15

Genesis is a book about beginnings, and its content is crucial to understanding what it means to be created a human being, to be responsible for choices and relationships. The themes of Genesis carry through to today: envy, rivalry, greed, fear, lust, deception, betrayal. But Genesis also provides scenes of faith, forgiveness, reconciliation, and purpose–revealing God’s ongoing activity in the lives of people.

PRAYER GROUPS

We believe that prayer is vital to our ministry and our lives!

Moms In Prayer

Runs September – May | Cost: Free

Meet with others to pray for your children, their schools, teachers & administrators. This group is open to mothers, grandmothers, and anyone willing to pray for a specific child and school. No prayer experience is necessary.

RENEW GROUPS

ReNew support and care groups are intended to help you deal with life’s struggles while you pursue spiritual growth and healing.

Women’s Divorce Care
(Wednesday evening beginning in October)

Needing a safe place to share and process pain from a broken marriage? This care group seeks to minister to those in any stage of divorce. Women who are separated or newly-divorced, or divorced for many years and still looking for healing will come together in a safe environment for mutual support and a fresh start by diving into Scripture, prayer and a divorce recovery workbook. While the group will allow for connection to those going through similar circumstances, the main theme of the gatherings will be the heart’s response to scripture and prayer along with knowledge of concrete steps to take to enable healing. Our hope is that through exposure to the work of the Holy Spirit and reminder of God’s character, gospel change can occur in the midst of each individual’s journey.
