Good Friday Service
April 7 • 4:30 & 6 pm

Our Good Friday service will be more reflective in nature – full of scripture and worship as we contemplate the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, and marvel at what a Savior we have in Him. We’ll also have the opportunity to take communion. Plan to join us in person or online at either service.

Children are welcome to attend the service and we’ll have a special activity bag ready for them. Oak Pointe Kids programming will also be available for children ages preschool and under. If you prefer that your child be in Oak Pointe Kids on Good Friday, please RSVP to secure their spot.

April 8 • 8:30 – 11 am

With a 5k walk/run, 10k run, & one-mile fun run, there is something for all ages and abilities to enjoy at our ninth annual Milford Easter Dash! Come out with your family & friends to have a fun time and support a great cause. All proceeds will benefit Grace Centers of Hope which provides faith-based, long-term life skills programs for those afflicted by homelessness, addiction, and abuse in southeast Michigan. Entry costs will increase on April 1 as we get closer to the race, and participants will receive an Easter Dash t-shirt while supplies last.

If running is not your passion, that’s okay! It’s actually great news because we need your help to make this race run. Show support for a runner and Grace Centers of Hope by checking people in, setting up, directing car traffic, helping runners stay on course, and more. Plus, volunteers receive their own Easter Dash swag!

Come celebrate with us that Jesus is risen, that He is alive, and explore why this truth is kind of a BIG deal… at one of our four Easter services! 7 am (Traditional Worship) and 8:30, 10 & 11:30 am (Nursery-5th Grade Programming Available). Please note the sunrise service worship will be more traditional in nature, and children are welcome to join us at any service & will receive a special activity bag when they do. Help us plan well for Easter by letting us know what service you’ll be attending and how many will come with you! Or you can join us online at the 8:30 & 10 am services. ASL Interpretation will be available during the 10 am service.

Easter at Oak Pointe is a big day! If you are a regular attender at Oak Pointe Milford we need your help on our Frontline Teams greeting, ushering, serving donuts and coffee, but our biggest need is in Oak Pointe Kids (ArkPark, K3Cove, & Club45). Even if it’s your first time serving at Oak Pointe, Easter is a great day to start! Help give guests a great experience by providing a welcoming environment for everyone who comes.
