Middle School Ministry

6th-8th Grade

Thursdays • 6:30-8:30p

The Rock is dedicated to creating an environment where middle school students are accepted, belong and cared for. Students are also challenged to grow and develop their relationship with God and are equipped to make a difference in the world through the message of Jesus Christ, all while having fun in a loving community!

BIG THINGS ARE COMING!

Our next Life Group Night is May 1st!

These nights are special nights where you get to spend time with just your life group. Meet with your life groups to decide what you want to do with this night and let Emily know before April 14th.

We will not be meeting at the church, communicate with your life group leader to see where you are meeting.

Laser Tag is May 15!

This is a Rock only event this year! Bring your freinds and dress up in neon!

COST: $20 if you register by Wed. May 14
$25 If you register after May 14

What’s included? RAFFLE TICKETS TO AWESOME PRIZES – MULTIPLE GAMES OF LASER TAG – PIZZA – & SO MUCH FUN!

Ways to win raffle tickets:

TIME:
6th-8th graders (Rock): 6:30-9:00PM

We will be traveling to West Olive, MI and staying in a house on Lake Huron. (Near Holland/Grand Haven)

Cost- $70 this will cover Room, most food and gas/travel

Bring:
Money for one meal
Bathing suit (Modest)
1 change of Clothes
Toiletries
Beach Towel
Bible, Pen and Note Book

We will be hanging out at Lake Michigan and playing games. There will be a time of worship and learning so get ready to have a blast together!!

Information and Application

For 8th grade only!

PURPOSE

Detroit is a week that will stretch you beyond your normal comfort zone and expose you to the culture, and needs of others. It will provide you an opportunity to put your faith into action, and remind you that you can make a difference in the world by serving Jesus Christ.

IMPORTANT DATES

May 07 – Team Meeting #1 • 5:00 – 6:30 PM @ Milford
May 28 – Team Meeting #2 • 5:00 – 6:30 PM @ Milford
June 9- Team Meeting #3 • 6:00 – 8:00 PM @ NOVI – Balance due

COST: $375

LODGING

We will be staying at Oak Pointe Novi for the Mission Trip. We will be traveling to Detroit to serve each day in vans, vehicles and buses.

This series is all about how to have Godly relationships!

We will be talking about family, dating, and friend relationships and how we can honor God in each of those.

9th-12th Grade

707 is dedicated to creating an environment where high school students are accepted, belong and cared for. May 14th is our 707 Alumni Night!

All 707 alumni are welcome to join us for this 707, there will be a pannel of alumni to share what thier walk with the Lord has been like after high school.
